The AQLIGHTING redesigned MAC3-LED is the perfect LED submersible kit for underwater illumination. Each MAC3 fixture uses a 1 watt MR11 type bulb that allows the unit to be compact, yet produce a stunning amount of crisp cool white light (equivalent to a 10w Halogen bulb). The MAC3-LED underwater kit commonly is used for moonlighting, accenting, or wall washing applications where more than one light is required. Paired with the AQLIGHTING exclusive directional swivel and snap-on colored lens, you have complete control over your light output. The MAC 3 light pond lighting kit comes with everything you need to light up that fountain, pond, waterfall, or pool!
Commercial Outdoor Lighting Design
Constructed from heavy duty ABS plastic, the submersible lights are both lightweight and resilient against the rigors of underwater operation. The MAC3-LED kit is redesigned to feature a "mason jar" style screw on cover. This new cover makes it easeier to guarantee a more even seal and offers better protection against water leaking, as seen in previous designs. Also benefitting from the "mason jar" style is the included color lesnes, which now are secured under the screw on top making them less likely to be dislodged.
Energy Efficient LED Lighting
Upgrade to the latest in LED technology and gain the many advantages of LED. LED light bulbs produce the same amount of light as a halogen bulb while only using approximately 80% less energy. INSTALLATION PREPARATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS
Please read this instruction sheet carefully.
Luminaires must be installed in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and local codes. Failure to do so may result in serious injury and/or damage to the luminaire.
SAFETY WARNING: Luminaire can become very hot, depending on lamp wattage used. Lens and metal around the lamp can become hot enough to blister/burn hands. Particular care should be taken not to place luminaires where small children can reach them, especially when high wattage lamps are used.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
THE LIGHTED LAMP IS HOT!!!
To avoid electrical shock, turn off the power at the circuit breaker before starting your installation project.
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR INJURY TO PERSONS
- Turn off/unplug and allow fixture to cool before replacing lamp.
- Lamps get hot quickly! Contact only switch/plug when turned on.
- Do not touch hot lens, guard or enclosure
- Keep lamp away from amterial that may burn
- Do not touch the lamp directly at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil from the skin may damage the lamp when illuminated.
- Do not operate luminaire fitting with a missing or damaged cover.
