Our brand new animated LED rope light features a built-in animated lighting controller, which produces wonderful lighting effects. Using the very best in LED technology, this cool white rope light spool uses considerably less energy than its incandescent rivals (uses 85% less energy). Cuttable every 5', this 120V LED rope light is customizable to your exact specifications and features plug and play installation. UL listed for both indoor and outdoor locations, this cool white LED rope light is ready for almost any lighting project. Beautiful and Inexpensive Deck Lighting

I purchased the 145' Chasing LED Cool White Rope Light Kit (120 volt) with included controller, and added the Outdoor Digital Photocell Controller to turn on the display at darkness. The lights were installed in one piece around a deck on a new home in the woods to add ambient lighting and give visitors a warm welcome. The ordering process was relatively easy but fulfilling the order prior to shipping was a bit slow and shipping took six days, possibly slow because it was over the Labor Day Holiday. Fed Ex delivered the two packages on consecutive days. The LED Rope Lights on a roll was easy to install as I drilled 5/8 inch channel holes through the deck pillars. It is important to work with the rope on a warm day so it is pliable and one can easily get the twists and kinks out so it will install in a straight line. Even though the kit was advertised as including 150 mount clips there were none shipped. I found better clips at Lowe's I believe may last longer. They are Gardner Bender 7/16 inch Coax Staples and fit the rope light just right. They cost about $10 for 100. The controller was advertised as an eight function unit but what was sent, and what was pictured on the webpage, was the seven effect white mini controller, but it works fine. There were no instructions. The Outdoor Digital Photocell Controller seems to work OK but turns on when shadows appear in the afternoon. It also functions with always On and up to nine hours in one hour increments. The cryptic instruction sheet was obviously written by a non-English speaker. For instance, under the heading "B2. IMPORTANT: The bulb will not be off if re-set the timer, and it will follow the new re-set when timer works." I think this is important but am still trying to translate. Overall, we like the product(s) as installed, the efficiency of Affordable Quality Lighting in fulfilling the order (with the exceptions as noted above), and the approximate $2 per foot cost. I will purchase again in the future but probably would speak with a Sales Rep. before ordering to be positive everything was as expected.
