Submersible Pond Lights w/ Angle Shield
The PU-L-916 underwater fixture is designed with an angled shade, hiding the light from direct view but focusing the light onto the object you wish to light. Capable of handling up to 35w of light output, the PU916 fixture is primarily used for spotlighting, moonlighting or accent lighting purposes as we offer both clear and colored halogen MR16 light bulbs. Make the most of the MR16 type light bulbs by going LED, reducing your lighting costs while still maintaining a high amount of LED pond light underwater.
UL Certified JC Bi-Pin Socket
LED ready, the PU916 underwater light uses an underwater/outdoor-rated GU5.3 Bi-Pin socket, which is compatible with our line of energy efficient MR11 and MR16 light bulbs. LED light bulbs produce the same amount of light as a halogen bulb while only using approximately 80% less energy. Start using some of the newest, most efficient and reliable LED's available today providing over 40,000 hours of bulb life compared to the 2,000 hours of life you can get from a halogen bulb.
No Splice Connection Wiring System
Utilizing the N.S.C. wiring system, you no longer need to splice your pond LED lighting to create watertight connections, cutting installation times significantly. Each point of contact is tool-free, watertight and can be connected in ~5 seconds. This wiring system will save you a ton of time and labor and offers the ability to service your submersible fountain lights in seconds without removing the entire system. Also, should you desire more light fixtures in the future, the system is easily expandable.

INSTALLATION PREPARATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS:
Please read this instruction sheet carefully. Luminaires must be installed in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and local codes. Failure to do so may result in serious injury and/or damage to the luminaire.
SAFETY WARNING: Luminaire can become very hot, depending on lamp wattage used. Lens and metal around the lamp can become hot enough to blister/burn hands. Particular care should be taken not to place luminaires where small children can reach them, especially when high wattage lamps are used.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
THE LIGHTED LAMP IS HOT!!! To avoid electrical shock, turn off the power at the circuit breaker before starting your installation project.
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR INJURY TO PERSONS
Turn off/unplug and allow fixture to cool before replacing lamp.
Lamps get hot quickly! Contact only switch/plug when turned on.
Do not touch hot lens, guard or enclosure
Keep lamp away from amterial that may burn
Do not touch the lamp directly at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil from the skin may damage the lamp when illuminated.
Do not operate luminaire fitting with a missing or damaged cover.
NOTE: Always use UL recognized wire connectors.
The most common cause of damage in submersible pond & fountain lights are due to user error during installation. Therefore it's crucial to choose high quality fixtures that offer multiple safeguards from user error and a strong build construction to maximize the fixture's longevity.
