120V 26w New Work, IC Rated Compact Fluorescent Recessed Housing features a 6" opening, which is made to house twin 2-pin CFL lamps to create 26w of lighting. Designed for new construction projects, this recessed housing has 2 24" adjustable hanger bars with 90° positional adjustment and barbed studs located at the end for easy installation. The LH276 is UL/CUL listed for through-branch wiring and rated for damp locations, making it highly versatile enough for most applications.
Twin Tube Lamping:
Rated for a maximum of 26w, the LH276 features 2 2-pin sockets, each of which takes a 13w 2-pin CFL lamp vertically aligned. Paired with a reflector type trim, you'll be able to get incredibly high volumes of light from your recessed lighting installation. And you don't have to worry about shopping around of bulbs because it comes included with the housing. 
Polished Reflector Trim:
Make every watt count by directing all the light generated by the CFL lamps down, along with any ambient light that reaches the housing. The included trim features a twin CFL opening and a white outer ring to blend in seamlessly with most ceilings. 
IC Rated:
IC Rated means that this recessed housing is rated for direct contact with loose-fill blown and rolled insulation without causing fire/heat damage. We highly recommend using IC-Rated cans for both commercial and residential installations for additional safety. Bulbs
The LH276 utilizes 2 13w 2-pin twin tube compact fluorescent lamps, mounted vertically. With each LH276, we include 2 CFL lamps so you don't have to worry about finding the right bulbs.
Voltage
This recessed housing functions on standard line voltage (120V), so a transformer is NOT required.
