It isn’t often that I write a comment to a product that I bought, but I purchased one of the low-voltage, copper, outside lights (PASH-112C) and I thought that the quality was just excellent. The designing and fabrication is perfect.

Thanks to Affordable Quality Lighting, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego's Gala Event was a huge hit.  We usually hold this black tie affair at one of the hotels in San Diego.  However, this year we descided to "lighten up" and create a fun atmosphere.  So we rented the San Diego Aerospace Museum for the evening of October 22, 2005.  Our theme "Where Wishes Take Flight" had the entire occassion based on airport and airline experiences.  The entry tickets were printed to look like boarding passes, and small bags of peanuts and miniature pillows were given to everyone.  Our unique entry was designed to look like a landing strip at an airport.  Sid's Carpet Barn donated 60 feet of black carpet for the runway, and with addition of lighting on either side donated by Affordable Quality Lighting, the tempo for a fun and exciting night had been set.  This annual fundraiser helps generate the necessary dollars needed to pay for the 160+ wishes we will grant this year.  It is only made possible through the generousity of fine companies such as yours.  Our sincere thanks, for your donation of lighting that made this event a smashing success.

To whom it may concern,  I needed to replace soem outdoor lights in the front of my residence in Saratoga, California.  The existing lights were 120 volt and I wished to replace them with the same type of light fixture.  After many trips to Home Depot and Lowes, I found very little to offer in design and the 120 volt type fixture.  The quality of the fixtures they did have was very disappointing.  I then went to specialty light stores who had catalogs of lights I could order but I was shocked at the steep cost.  I descided to search the Internet and I found Affordable Quality Lighting.  At the website, I found a large choice of lights, many of which could be ordered in 12v or 120v.  The prices were very reasonable.  I settled on the Large Top Pagoda Area light and ordered five fixtures a few days before Christmas.  The lights were shipped  on the day I ordered them and arrived just a few days after the holiday.  My wife and I were very pleased with the product we received and their quality.  We would use Affordable Quality [Lighting] again for our lighting needs.

At first I couldn't believe it when I found your web site, because of all the options you offer.  You actually offered so many different finishes and lens options on your outdoor craftsman style column fixtures that it took me and my client over two weeks to decide on the best combination.  Being the fact that I am an interior designer, made it quite pleasing to find such options.  The actual product received was truly built like a tank and looked hand made as advertised.

Last year, after searching far and wide for all brass outdoor lighting fixtures, we discovered the raw brass 12v ones from Affordable Quality Lighting.  My husband refused to pay more than $100 for most that are available through local lighting stores.  As a result of more than 50 years in heavy construction, he assured me that these would fit the bill.  I was dubious.  I was also wrong.  We recently ordered another dozen flood lights.  Despite the heavy rains this past summer, the fixtures never had a problem.  They look so good, our electrician is planning on ordering them for his other customers.  We are delighted to have discovered your company.

I was surprised to find a company that offered a lifetime guarantee on outdoor lights.  We purchased outdoor lights in the past and seem to not have any luck with them.  We bought less expensive to more expensive units, yet still had problems with rust, corrosion, brittleness, not being able to remove the light bulb, screws freezing, colors change to powderly white, etc.  We do not even live by the beach.  We were a little weary at first and we bought just a couple of your brass outdoor lights in the dark pewter finish.  After five months, the fixtures looked the same as the day we received them.  They held up to sprinklers hitting them twice a day, not to mention sun and snow.  We will be placing a large order soon.  I have a sister that lives on the beach in Florida and she had similiar problems.  I have sent one of my fixtures for her to test.  So far, it has been six weeks and she has notified me that she already purchased the rest of the fixtures from you.  I hope that she sends me back my fixture, ha ha.  Thank you and keep up the good work.

I was very surprised when I found your website.  Especially the large lamp posts.  Locally, they were asking for almost 3 times the amount!  It really does pay to shop around.  You should also know that a large home center here also had similiar post lights, but were made of plastic and were about 20% more in price!  Please do not raise your prices based on my letter.  I, as well as many others, are not very wealthy and would like to have these types of lights that are normally in your more expensive homes.  Thanks to you, now anyone can afford these types of lights.

Dear Affordable Quality Lighting Inc., we recently moved into a single family home that is on a beautifully landscaped half-acre lot.  There are many tall trees, beautiful stack stone walls, a great half round deck and a two-tier pond with a waterfall.  While the previous owners had spent thousands on landscaping, they had overlooked outdoor lighting.  After some researching, we found Affordable Quality Lighting Inc.  Their website provided us even more ideas and not only did they have everything we needed for our lighting projects, their prices were outstanding.  We ended up with rope lighting for the railings along our deck; spot lights to uplight several trees; underwater lights to highlight the waterfall and provide a dramatic look to the plants surrounding the pond; a flood light to illuminate one of the stone walls; lights to mount in the trees to down light areas around the pond; and the transformers, cables and connectors to complete the installation.  I have and will continue to recommend Affordable Quality Lighting to friends and family.

Dear Tom: I have not had the 120v lights installed yet.  The electrician will be starting next week.  But as for the light fixtures themselves, I think they are very good.  The quality seems solid and the powder coating is very even and consistant.  I do like the glass globe much better than anything I have seen that is plastic or plexiglass.  I have assembled the low voltage lights and laid them out next to the sidewalk to get the spacing the way we like.  I will finish their installation this weekend but they are much, much better than any of the other low voltage lights found at the local home builder stores.  Again, the frosted glass globe is very superior to the plastic found on other products.  Thank you for your excellent survive and selling a quality product for such a reasonable price.

I ordered the copper "Malibu" lights over a month ago, and was very pleased.  I received the order faster than expected, and I had no problems installing the lights.  The product is excellent.  The Scotch brand connectors are a godsend.  Not only do they make installation convenient, I don't expect to have the same problems I did with my old Malibu lights - sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't.  It seems like I was always checking the connections and replacing the light bulbs.  I liked them so much that I had just ordered spotlights to replace the ones I had.  They too work very well, and I expect years of very low maintainance with them.  By the way, I really like the wide assortment of bulbs you offer.  I referred my brother to your website and I will be referring others as well.

I am very happy with the look and quality of the lamp post and can't believe how fast it arrived.  I'm telling my friends!  Thank you and Happy New Year.

I thought I'd drop you a note to mention that I have been looking for an online company that sells the Cooper Aspire line of switches.  I saw them at Lowes, but I didn't want to pay $2.50 per switch cover.  I ended up using other switches.  I found your site by searching for rope lighting, it was only by chance I noticed that you sell the Aspire line.  If I had known about you and your prices a week ago, I would have bought them from you.  You are the only online store I've found that sells them, and I've been looking for a while.  I would add "Aspire Switch" or "Cooper Aspire" to your google adwords campaign!

I'm back, I really appreciate your responding to me...you are correct; you have the best prices and warranty.  Lowe's and Home Depot are in my area but their warranties are short.  The rope lighting thing all started with my wife wanting our stair case lighted, installation is going to be major surgery, that's why I was searching for a good warranty, didn't expect the lighting to be so expensive.

First of all, I installed some waterproof low voltage lights from you, around and in my pond last fall and they are fantastic.  I was interested in mounting some lights 30-40 feet in a tree to shine down on my patio.  Hopefully to give a nice evening light.
